Eye Examination

THE CHECK-UP

An eye examination – or test – does two main things. Firstly, it determines case study analysis paper vision and measures any visual error e.g. long or short sight; secondly, it assesses the health of the eye. A routine exam will take around forty five minutes, a little longer if more involved tests are needed. Contact lens fitting requires more time and may involve several visits to complete the process.

Sometimes people are a little daunted by the procedure but it’s all very relaxed and painless – we simply want to understand and treat your eyes. We are particularly sensitive with children, some of whom worry that it’s going to be like a school test.
