At Panoptica, we often refer to sunglasses as ‘fashion’ or ‘function’. Whilst fashion glasses may give satisfactory protection for a moderately bright day they may not be enough for strong sun or on water or snow. If you need higher protection, we can upgrade the lens. Function glasses are more specialised. They are extremely high quality though the brands tend to be less well known than the designer products.
